Episode 100 of #CoffeesOnMeDavidQuan: Sharon Chau is a Rhodes Scholar reading for a Masters in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University of Oxford. She previously graduated with a first-class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) from Oxford as a Kwok Scholar. Outside of academics, Sharon was the Vice President and Treasurer of the Oxford Union, the first Chinese woman to hold either role, the Vice President of the Oxford Feminist Society, and a keen student journalist, having written for her own blog and for publications such as Asia Times and Hong Kong Economic Journal. She is also a competitive debater who has represented Oxford internationally and served as Captain of Team Hong Kong.
